Standing With Refugees

We live in a world where violence has forced thousands of families to flee their homes. These men, women and children, not only have to endure persecution and displacement but also have to face rejection and mistreatment in the new land they wish to call their own.

This June, through #DrawForACause we were honoured to see artworks from Syria, Argentina, Palestine & India narrating visual stories of those who had the heart-rending experience of being a refugee. This month, we also did two special features A Refuge of Art and Syrian Artists on World Refugee Day on Medium.

We are on a mission to offer them an ecosystem that will empower them as artists. Our Artist of the Month was Tania Naboulsi who lives in the Beddawi refugee camp in Lebanon.
We are super excited to see more and more illustrators joining us. Hope you will continue being a part of the journey as we explore and tell more stories by being ArtsPositive.
